Growing up in Perth Western Australia I have always had the desire to explore the world. Starting from a young age, I fell in love with playing the drums. The passion for music grew and I found the centre of my universe was the pursuit of stardom, music gave me the hope of pulling me out of myself so to speak. I chased drumming as a profession which took me around the world giving me the chance to perform in some of the most beautiful countries in the world. Fortunately there came a time when I noticed that I had completely lost myself to my own dreams and desires.

At the height of what I thought was my life's calling, my wife and I spent time in Rome where I first had the desire to find out who Jesus really was, not what I had been taught in the fashion of third hand information or TV evangelists. In what I can only describe as Jesus hearing my depraved 'calling out', I was given the gift of the knowledge of myself so to speak, the mirror was held up, I was a sinner and was in great need of a Saviour. By grace I was heard and by grace I have been saved.

As of 2016 I am teaching two Bible classes, work as a research assistant at the Red Door Community Church and am currently completing a degree in theology through Ridley University Melbourne. I have a deep desire for Christians to learn the revealed word of God and be empowered to make disciples as Jesus commanded us in Matthew 28 'Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.'
